This week we're switching things up a bit. Our guest in this installment professes to be neither a prop maker or cosplayer, but plays an equally important role in the creative community. You've likely seen the fruits of his creativity sown across the internet in the form of stunning and unique photographs.
This is the one and only Martin Wong.

We're glad you could join us! Can you tell us a little about you and your trade?
You're a well traveled man. Where can you be found on the internet?
Your photos are stellar. What got you into cosplay photography?
A lot of thought goes into your photos. What special touches set your work apart from the rest?
I fondly remember being one of your "remote lights" at PAX a few years back. What have been a few of your favorite shoots so far?
Impressive indeed! What is the most challenging part of shooting cosplay photography?

Final question. If you had to give a single piece of advice to an aspiring photographer, what would it be?
Good advice for anyone in the creative industry.
Photographers often go overlooked in the cosplay community; hundreds of hours can go into any single costume but a good photographer plays a pivotal role in bringing that costume to life. Go check out more of Martin's other work and keep an eye out for him and his colorful pants at your next convention.
I'm in London as I write this, meandering through museums for inspiration and staring aimlessly at the subway map. Have a suggestion for next week? Leave us a comment below. Till then, have a Fortunate Friday.
